The people of Brentwood do not want any development on the green belt. The green belt is supposed to be a permanent safeguard against urban sprawl, and, once it has gone, it has gone forever. Please return to the 2013 policy and scrap all plans for building on the green belt, including this ridiculous sham of a "garden village". The so-called "Objectively Assessed Housing Need" has been grossly exaggerated, and, even if it were so high, green belt constraints ARE a valid reason to not meet said "Need". We do not want this "village" (just look at all the objections to the plans that were submitted in response to previous consultations); we do not need this "village"; stop lining the pockets of greedy developers and listen to the people. We want our green belt preserved as is.
